We enjoy working with all of our clients, but our work with Food4Kids Waterloo Region has had a special place close to our hearts. While childhood hunger is an easy to understand issue, it is not always visible to us in our day to day lives.
Visibility and growing awareness of the Food4Kids Waterloo Region brand was a main focus for this project. When people learn of the organization and the work they do in our community, they quickly become supporters as donors and volunteers. But as a relatively new organization, they have been flying somewhat under the local radar.
With a broader project covering key messaging, brand guidelines, and marketing strategies already underway, there was urgency to update the website to be clear in their messaging, compelling in their story, and adding direct pathways for donors and supporters. This project was done in close consultation with the leadership team, and has been launched in time for their end of year fundraising campaign – Giving4Kids.
The website is now much clearer for users to understand the mission and vision of the organization, and the style reflects the optimistic approach to this large problem, while properly reflecting the updated brand colours, fonts, and styling.
Please check out their website and consider making a donation to support their efforts in reaching children living with chronic hunger throughout Waterloo Region.
Food4Kids Waterloo Region provides an essential service for local children experiencing chronic hunger. They deliver nutritious food packages directly to at-risk, vulnerable children when they are not in school and need their help the most.
It is estimated that at least 3,000 children in our community do not have access to the nourishment they need to thrive mentally, physically, or socially. Food4Kids Waterloo Region is helping to make a difference to kids in our region.
