President, Evergreen Digital Marketing | Google Partner
I’ve been building websites and running digital marketing campaigns for well over a decade. Most of that time has been spent helping organizations figure out what actually moves the needle, and politely talking them out of the stuff that doesn’t.
Before Evergreen, I sold cars, spent a few years in finance doing mortgages and loans, then came back to automotive to own a dealership with my brothers. I learned a lot about marketing from selling cars – what actually moves people to buy, what builds trust, and what kills it. When digital came along, it was the obvious next step, and Evergreen has been the work ever since.
I run Evergreen Digital Marketing, where I work with businesses, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and professional service firms across Canada. I’m not big on jargon or complicated strategies. Most of what works in marketing is straightforward. The hard part is doing it consistently and knowing what to ignore.
I’m also the person you’ll actually work with. The first call, the design, the emails years after launch.
Along the way I’ve spoken at conferences across North America and written for organizations like Google, NTEN, Personify, and Capacity Canada.
I’m usually driving my sons to their sports. One races at Chicopee, the other instructs there. Add baseball with the Cambridge Cubs and volleyball with KW Predators Altius, and the calendar fills itself. In the summer I try to get out biking on the trails near the Grand River, close to home.
Over the years I’ve also given my time to a few organizations I care about, including leading the Waterloo chapter of Protect Our Winters Canada, and board roles with Camp McGovern and Strong Start to Reading.
Whether you’re planning a new website, tackling a marketing challenge, or just want a second opinion on something, I’d be happy to talk.
