EmphasisHR had a problem most growing companies eventually hit: a website quietly working against them. Built on an aging WordPress setup, it had reached the point where plugins and content could no longer be updated safely. A ticking time bomb that left them exposed and unable to keep the site current.
The deeper issue was the message it sent. EmphasisHR’s entire pitch is operational expertise, handing your payroll and HR to people who run things properly. A fragile, dated website undercut that pitch on every visit. And because the business couldn’t stop for a rebuild, the migration had to happen without disruption.
What We Built
Our website design rebuilt the entire site from scratch, built around conversions rather than just looks. We kept it on WordPress, but on a modern, stable foundation the team can actually maintain. Every page drives toward a booked consultation, the service tiers are laid out clearly, and the messaging and branding they’d worked hard to establish carried through intact.
We migrated hosting and rebuilt in parallel with the live site, then launched in May with zero disruption to the business. Where the old site was a liability, the new one is a sales tool.
The Result
The results spoke quickly. Within months of going live, EmphasisHR attributed nearly $500,000 in closed-won business to their inbound efforts on the new site. That’s the difference between a website that looks good and a website built to convert: one is a cost, the other earns its keep.
